Our days are our life in miniature so how we spend each day determines our Lives. What, then, is more important than cultivating gratitude?
What we have today is what we once wanted before, but for some reason this never seems to be enough to find joy and contentment. We are constantly made to feel like we are lacking and always ‘wanting’ more, looking towards external factors to make us feel good within.
The good news is that gratitude is an emotion that can be cultivated, nourished and built on day by day, through focusing on things that bring us joy.
Living in Gratitude retreat will assist you in recognising that your life is a gift; each moment is given to you to be lived fully and with appreciation.
You will have all the support that you need on your yoga journey, whether you are completely new to the yoga mat, or whether you are a more experienced practitioner looking to really deepen and expand your practice, Wendy and Xime will cover various aspects of wellness and are there to answer any questions and guide you through the sessions and workshops.
We have different styles of yoga planned throughout our time together, including flow, restorative and yoga nidra. Outside of the yoga sessions we offer mindset workshops that allow you to deepen your knowledge on health and wellbeing, the workshops on this retreat include creating an emotional state that supports the life you want to create, heart and brain coherence, EFT (emotional freedom technique) The workshops are supported by Mindfulness and meditation practices throughout the three days. On your free time you are welcome to do what you please – relax, swim, play golf, head to Arrowtown or
Queenstown, walk, read a book, take a spa, have a massage, etc.
